Questions teachers usually ask
Who can apply?
We welcome experienced school teachers, home tutors and subject specialists in Maths, Physics and Chemistry. Strong subject knowledge and a patient, concept-first style matter more than a particular degree title.
Is this full-time or part-time?
Most of our tutors teach part-time or on a session basis — after school hours, weekends, or a mix. If you have fuller availability, tell us in the form; we will match what we can.
Where will I teach?
Depending on the student: at our centre in Kottivakkam, at the student’s home in South Chennai and nearby areas, or online. You choose the formats you are open to.
Which boards and grades?
We support CBSE, ICSE, ISC, IGCSE, IB and Tamil Nadu State Board, typically Classes 1–12. You can apply for the boards and class levels you know well.
How are tutors paid?
Pay depends on subject, class level, board and format (home / centre / online). We discuss this openly during the conversation — no surprises after you start.
How soon will I hear back?
We review applications on a rolling basis and aim to respond within a few working days. If your profile is a strong match for current student demand, we will reach out sooner.
